Terms of Service

Hutch is a macOS utility application published by Coursion ("we", "us"). These terms cover your use of the app and this website. By installing or buying Hutch you agree to them.

1. What you are buying

A perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use Hutch on the number of Macs stated in your licence key — two unless you bought additional seats. The licence covers every 1.x release. A future 2.0 is a separate paid upgrade, discounted for existing owners.

You are buying a licence, not the software itself. We keep ownership of the app and its source.

2. Trial and free tier

Hutch runs a 14-day trial with everything unlocked, no payment details required. After it ends, the Toggles and Window Manager tools keep working indefinitely at no cost. The remaining tools need a licence.

3. Your licence key

Your key is personal to you. Don't publish it, resell it, or share it outside the seats it covers. We may revoke a key that is distributed publicly, or one whose payment is reversed or charged back.

Keys are verified on your Mac and do not require an account or an internet connection to keep working.

4. Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles all payment-related enquiries and customer service, as well as returns. Paddle's own terms apply to the payment itself.

5. Acceptable use

• Don't reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to defeat licensing.
• Don't redistribute the app, modified or otherwise.
• Don't use Hutch to break the law or someone else's rights.

6. Updates

Hutch checks for updates and can install them with your confirmation. Updates are not installed silently. We may change, add, or remove features between releases. We don't guarantee any particular feature will exist forever, though we won't remove one you paid for without a good reason and a clear notice.

7. Third-party AI providers

Hutch can talk to AI services using an API key that you supply. Those requests go directly from your Mac to that provider under their terms and pricing, and we neither see nor route them. Any cost is between you and that provider.

8. No warranty

Hutch is provided "as is". We do our best, but we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will suit a particular purpose. Some jurisdictions don't allow disclaiming certain warranties, in which case that disclaimer doesn't apply to you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to Hutch is limited to what you paid for your licence in the twelve months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost data or lost profits. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

10. Ending the agreement

You may stop using Hutch at any time. We may end your licence if you materially breach these terms — most obviously by distributing your key publicly. If we do, and you haven't breached them, we'll refund the unused portion.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted by the date at the top of this page. Changes don't apply retroactively to a purchase you already made.

12. Who you are dealing with

Hutch is sold by Kuray OGUN, trading as Coursion, of Ankara, Türkiye.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, and the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction. If you bought as a consumer in the EU or UK, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
